SARFARAAZ KHAN
Elder son of Ustad Faiyaz Khan, renowned Hindustani Vocalist and Sarangi maestro. He born into a family of Musicians who hails from Kirana Gharana. His grandfather Ustad Abdul Quader Khan Sahab was a Sarangi Maestro and a staff artist in A.I.R Dharwad. His great grandfather Ustad Sheik Abdulla Khanwas a court musician at the Mysore Palace and Nawab’s of Hyderabad. Sarfaraaz Khan started his initial tutelage under the guidance of his father Ustad Faiya Khan at the age of 4, in Sarangi and Vocal. Now Sarfaraaz is training under the living legend Guru Padmavibhushan. Pandit. Ramnarayan. His Gandha Bandhan Ceremony took place under the blessings of his Guru at Mumbai.
