Chandra Shekhar B, born in the family of art and culture his father was a theater personalty poet and music composer, Chandrashekhar learnt tabla under the guidance of Pandit Raghunath nakod for 15 years and accompanied with many named musicians across India and he is a great teacher many of his students are performers in the field of tabla, now he is a faculty of BSV.
SUMITH NAIK
SUMITH NAIK is a known Tabla player, disciple of Shri.Naveen Pai, and Dr. Udayaraj Kapoor. He holds a master’s degree from Dr. Gangubai Hangal University of Music & Performing Arts, Mysore. He worked as a Faculty in Music at the Mallya Aditi international School Bangalore. He has performed at various concerts across the country also accompanied the renowned Musicians like Ustad Faiyaz Khan, Pt. Arun Khashalkar, Pt. Sudhakar Devie, Pt. Nityanand Haldipu, Pt. Venkitesh Kumar, and Pt. Jayteerth Mevundi. He is a permanent faculty of Bharateey Sangeet Vidyalay (BSV) Kochi, Kerala.
